It is not planned to have embed push notifications in Seesmic for iPhone yet. In the mean time you can use Boxcar that is compatible with Seesmic, so your Boxcar push notifications will be opened directly in Seesmic.

Why is this not planned? Push notification within the Seesmic app would be so much more elegant than having to rely on Boxcar.

This is the only feature I really miss in the Seesmic app. I have discovered Boxcar today, bbut it would still be much better if it's just integrated in the app. I don't understand why it isn't planned, just hope it will be soon.

I installed boxcar. I succeeded to receive notifications. but after boxcar wake up seesmic app, seesmic app crashes anytime and I cannot read the updated messages seamlessly on seesmic+boxcar.
