We added the support of proxies in the 1.2.2 version available starting today on the Android Market. When you add an account you can now add other accounts than Twitter by setting up a correct proxy. Identi.ca works well! http://ping.fm/l9aMV

Glad to see multiple accounts now, but they still have to be all on twitter.com. I want to listen to both Roger Ebert *and* Richard Stallman (only on Identi.ca). Actually, Stallman's boring, but all the real geeks are on Identi.ca.

Bearing in mind that StatusNet (the code which drives a large number of Microbloggging services) provides a twitter-like API, which means that you could logically just add it as another account (albeit with a different API URL)

The StatusNet team are more than happy to work with anyone who wants to use the Twitter-like API to access a StatusNet service.
