  I do not .participate in Farmville and all those other games. I marked no games on FB and have not been getting them on the normal FB app. Why do they come to me in Seesmic? Can I restrict the FB updates?

  I agree with others that alerts by lost would likely ne the way to solve this issue.

  Agree that need alerts by list. I'm getting inundated by alerts. With TweetDeck, you could just do it by list. I'm thinking of switching back because this problem is so annoying that it eclipses the advantages.

  there's very easy way to solve this problem. make lists on Twitter! that's what i did and it works well. unfortunately Androids Seesmic doesn't support editing for those list so every time u wanna add (or remove) somebody to the list u gotta go on twitter.com...

  There are lots of times when you're waiting for tweets from a particular user, be it an announcement or event details or what have you. Especially for a mobile device, this would be perfect.

  This conflicts with the Twitter way of working. I would recommend not to do this.

  I agree. You should be able to set your notifications to ring/vibrate for tweets from specific lists you follow. I have way too many people that I follow, but I wouldn't mind getting notifications everytime someone on my "Friends" list sends a tweet.

  This. Twitter already has this option via txt, but those aren't the same. A notification leading to the tweet in the app would be perfect, though.

  Whoever can figure this out would become my go-to Twitter Application. I find myself not using any application with any regularity because I want a specific "Tweet" notification for only selected users (or lists).

  Having it go off for every little Tweet is distracting, but I hate having to rely on Twitter to text me when I know I have a perfectly good Twitter Application ready to be used!

  Now that lists are a part of Seesmic it would be HUGE to have the ability to enable alerts for selected lists.
