Add a black theme
I love the UI of Seemic Android; However, the white theme is a bit bright and tends to drain battery with extended use. I think a black theme/background would look excellent.
472 votesWe’re taking a look at this and seeing our options of implementing a dark theme. We’ll continuously review this as we iterate.

Bigger widget
Love that you have implemented a widget but would really like the option to have a bigger widget.
Or even modelled like the Facebook for Android widget with a status bar to put updates rather then taking opening up the seesmic app.292 votesWe’re currently looking at our options on the type of widgets (selection and functions). We’ll hope to figure out the best one based on everyone’s comments – Thanks!

add push notification support
Please add support for a push type notification system so that near-instant notification of @s and DMs is possible. There are several applications that do this on iPhone, Boxcar I think is one.

Android 2.0 contact sync / status provider
Android 2.0 allows any application to provide a synchronised set of contacts, including social status updates, which can be aggregated with the user's Google contacts. The Facebook application does this, so just by logging in and enabling that option, any contact with a matching real name (or which has been manually joined) automatically shows the latest status under their name in many places on the device, and more detail and a profile link on the view-contact screen. It would be awesome if Seesmic could provide this for Twitter. Here is an excellent, detailed, technical walkthrough on exactly how to do…

Add an option to exit so that task killer isn't necessary
User should be able to exit the program leaving no background process running.

As Scott said in comments, this is not how Android was intended to work. The app will be automatically closed if the system needs more resources. Google recommends not to include an exit button, but if it becomes a bigger issue, we’ll consider it.
If you don’t want to see the notifications, you can turn them off (you can find this option in the Settings). -
Add a progress bar for Video and Picture uploads.
Twitdroid has a progress bar for when your uploading photos and videos. This makes it easy to know how long your going to be waiting for the upload. This is the sole reason I do not use seesmic for Photo and Video uploads.

Show notifications for all added accounts
Instead of just giving notifications from the default account, give (the option to receive) notifications from all added accounts.

add ability to only get notifications from certain users
I follow lots of people and lots of feeds. I only want to see notifications from the people I interact with on a daily basis, so I'm not getting notifications every 30 seconds. I should be able to select which users I want notifications from.

Add Google+ Support
Please, ADD Google+ Support to both Seesmic and Ping.FM. SO Many people are trying so many different ways to get the FULL status updates sent to all of their social networking sites (right now mostly to Facebook) but I want them all ;)

Hashtag autocomplete/picker option
We already have a mention autocomplete for Android, so it would be nice to have a hashtag picker option where if you type in a # sign, a little list exactly like the one that pops up on the bottom for the @ mention autocomplete, pops up with a list of current trending topics, or hashtags that you previously typed in (almost like a hashtag storage) pops up. It would definitely be a whole lot easier than typing the whole entire trending topic out.

Adding/removing users to/from lists
The existing support for lists is alright, but I really miss the option to add users to certain lists (I like to add new users to a "temp" list) and also the option to remove users from lists without unfollowing them.
Any plans regarding this issue?

Twitpic: add the tweet text as the caption
Please add the tweet text as the caption for photos uploaded to Twitpic. When you upload a photo with Seesmic currently, no text appears on the Twitpic site. Other Android apps, such as Swift, add the caption correctly.

support left/right swipe on the timeline to switch tabs
I find myself naturally swiping left and right on the timeline thinking it will switch tabs. Why not? Once you've added this you could even add an option to hide the tabs altogether so there is more screen space for the timeline.

Add the ability to select the color of the LED notification in the Android client
Some other Android Twitter clients allow you to select from a range of colors for the flashing LED notification. This can help differentiate Seesmic notifications from others (eMail and SMS)

Allow customized tabs for lists/searches/favorites/etc..
Allow the user to choose what is displayed in tabs (instead of Reply/message/profile). It would be awesome to have saved search, userlist, favorites, trends assignable to tabs.

LinkedIn
LinkedIn is an absolute must. And with an option to select which information to receive. E.g. change in headline, new job, status update, but not who just connected to who, which is LinkedIn's standard RSS setup info.
