I'm a newcomer to Seesmic who's looking for the feature which allows scheduled tweets. I understand it was implemented a month or so ago but can't seem to find where it is. Can anyone help? Thanks!

This is a definite must! It's amazing that this was suggested over a year ago and has not been implemented yet

The ability to schedule posts for both twitter and Facebook will be critical to the success of Seesmic.

Scheduled tweets are good for businesses and individuals who want to promote their business, event, etc. at a specific time. Posting a tweet at 2 am is not ideal, but at noon (when I'm usually sleeping), or an hour before when someone is busy with last minute details is a great time.

This is critical i already like this better than hootsuite because i can have bit.ly

tweetdeck is a mess. I need scheduling. I see it's been a roadmap item for along time. Whats the ETA?

I already use Seesmic but need to schedule tweets. I'd rather not have to change to hootsuite.

Not only tweets but also facebook and in a second stage updates of facebook pages (when these can be managed here) should be possible.

it is 1am right now, and i really have a good tweet i want to make. i know i'll forget to tweet it tomorrow morning when i wake up, and i have no chance of RT tonight. that would REALLY be great if you allowed scheduling.

I'm getting ready to publish a book about strategic tweeting and am sad to have to point out that Seesmic doesn't schedule tweets. I would have otherwise recommended it over TweetDeck.

As tweeted earlier today @seesmic the lack of scheduler is the only feature I miss to use Seesmic Web for work.
I am really pleased to to see the feature is on the roadmap.

I would love to see this added, it would definitely make me MUCH more likely to switch from HootSuite since they cannot seem to get their act together and implement the new style retweets!

I dunno - I really like HootSuite and they're a tough act to follow. My ideal app would integrate with HootSuite, rather than replicating their services. However, if Seesmic chooses to roll out support for scheduled tweets, I would suggest that the feature incorporate stats somehow. Bit.ly, of course, supports stats for links, so one could always go to their site, but integrated stats would be the bomb. However, that might be beyond the scope of this app. :-)
