As new tweets come in, they should be marked as unread (and should be styled differently as well) and the total unread count should be incremented.

Tweets can be marked as read as a user hovers past them (for example, see DestroyTwitter) or explicitly clicks through them (for example, see Nambu).

In the "retweets of me" column for the web version, you cannot tell who retweeted your messages. It would be great if Seesmic incorporated this into the feed.

I'd really love a button that toggles the left menu (show/hide) so I have more space for the tabs. Though I'm running wide screens home and at work, they're never wide enough, so I always hide the left menu from Seesmic Web using the Dom Inspector or Firebug.

The Seesmic Android app (along with many other twitter clients) now has the option to remember the timeline position when new tweets load, so that you can read the new tweets chronologically.

I'd love this function to be added to Seesmic web; particularly if the new tweets start to load on the last read tweet so that it doesn't create a huge gap.

On Facebook I can click on hide to get rid of the stupid updates that some apps and some people clog my stream with. I'd like to be able to have a hide button in my facebook stream in seesmic web.

Twitlonger is something that allows long tweets to very eaily be posted and provide followers with a link to read the rest if interested. It has several benefits, firstly if you are posting a long tweet you dont have to remmber what you wrote last before carrying on, the second is it allows users more flexability with their tweeting. I belive it should be on all platforms as it is something that greatly increaes the twitter experience for myself and many others.

I would love to have my Google Buzz stream Twitter stream and any other interweaved into 1 column based on post time. Much like Tweetdeck on Android does.

Several search columns are not updated or only in one language. Example: I follow #a11y and get only German updates. Column with the search "Eltham" is not updated at all. Works fine with other clients.

Seesmic support for arbitrary Status.net domains (including Identi.ca) would go a long way toward building FOSS goodwill, and would differentiate the product in such a great way.
