If Seesmic acquired Ping.fm over two years ago surely you have access to the source code behind Ping.fm and therefore could modify it to adopt the Seesmic logo or something yet keep the functionality of Ping.fm. How could the decision makers foul up so royally like this? That would be like Ford acquiring Ferrari (who users could get for free and have come to love) and then stripping away everything cool and attempting to sell it. Total and complete EPIC FAIL!!!

I am trying to login but the website says that my login/password are invalid. I have then reset the password and still receive the error. Bring back Seesmic Desktop. I find the Ping service and application to be poor, and I miss the seesmic desktop.

If you are removing any networks that were on ping.fm... you're moving backwards, not forwards. Can't your programmers just port the usability features of ping.fm to seesmic until you figure out how to do it directly on the seesmic platform?
