SMS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE to update social media

I have been using the Ping.fm service for many years to update my social media. I always take advantage of the SMS service. It will be missed! It truly differentiated Ping.fm from every other competitor on the market. I sent about 10 messages a day using the texting option and I am truly saddened to see it go. Long live 918-814-4042! It allowed users to simple text in their updates hassle free :)

        and the you can't have over 140 characters... what gives? I will move to hootsuit

        This would be extremely useful for Cuba, it is very difficult to access the Internet, Wifi or 3G there. With ping.fm this could be done. Ideally seesmic activate this service. (excuse my ingles.Google-T.)

        Yes this was crucial to my everyday life having the ability to send text to my social networks especially when wifi isn't available for free. Please ad this service otherwise I will continue to look for a free a service that provides this as well
