Support Identi.ca and Status.net
I am disgusted that Seesmic Ping is replacing Ping.fm. Seesmic Ping does not support half of the service Ping.fm supports. I really need to be able to update all my micro-blogging accounts at once so I must have support for Twitter, Identi.ca and Status.net. The Status.net API is Twitter compatible and is here http://status.net/wiki/API

Thanks for the feedback, and I ask for your patience. For Seesmic Ping, we wanted to focus on the most frequently used and will prioritize adding services based on the feedback and assess with the current usage of Ping.fm. Please campaign for votes for Identi.ca/Status.net and this will help us prioritize. Appreciate your patience and support.

Count me in. It doesn't look like a service enhancement when you
cut off a feature and then say "maybe we'll bring it back."
Closing the Seesmic account for now; will see if y'all can
get back up to ping.fm's level of interop. -

As I also use Seesmic for Android which supports identi.ca accounts I've been used ping.fm for identi.ca postings from the desktop/web - about 8 private and corporate twitter/identi.ca accounts. Without identi.ca support Ping is nearly useless for me. The benefit of the "Seesmic Solutions", comparing to hootsuite etc., decreases at last.

You wanted to focus on the most used services, but you had a service that worked! Just astonishing that you now want us to campaign for services that we had set up to be able to work with our accounts. I'd rather use that time to look for another service.
