If you're closing Ping.fm, you should maintain a free service tier for Ping. Remove features, limit posting frequency, whatever, but it should be a comparable service to the one you'll eventually close.

I post to Facebook and set Facebook to post to Twitter with a link back. The limit would be much better the Facebook limit if you must have one. Better still is no limit. As soon as you add Blogger support (I can not believe you do not have it yet!) I will post my blog posts through Seesmic too. Blogger post to Twitter with a link back.

Unfortunately, with your change to a business model instead of the Seesmic that we all know and love, you have lost this user. I fell in love with Seesmic and was using it at home, work and on my phone. Now, I have already replaced it on my computers and will be doing so on my phone. Give me a shout if you ever decide to change it back to the way things were in the past.

Keep ping.fm running, Seesmic is totally useless and a degraded service compared to Ping.fm

Don't have any Windows computers and mobile is too expensive so a Mac version would be great!

I've been using ping.fm for years. i've even religiously tweeted my hatred for the competition in support of the service but to go from completely free great service to a restricted free ok service is not a good look. im not asking for special options or perks, i am asking that you guys considering allowing your faithfuls to have the upgraded pro service for the price of the plus.

PLEASE create an application for the Symbian platforms... It's totally unfair to restrict this application to just the android and windows mobile platforms... Personally seesmic is only useful to me on my laptop/desktop, as I'm a Symbian user who would like to post content all the time from my Symbian mobile.

Re-Occuring Billing. Really? What about a very low one time flat fee for current loyal users, and make them affiliates to champion your great service once its proven. I doubt you'll convert small business users into an unproven new business model. There will be plenty of time for your closest competition to win over ping.fm users. It'll be tough to get us all back once we migrate to the next platform.

I used to access Seesmic web with https://seesmic.com/web/index.html link and cookies of my account were saved so with 1 click from my toolbar I could access it. now it redirects to homepage!

This change plain sucks. Your new format, while slicker looking offers far less options even the paid version. Way to take something good and mess it up.

If you're going to shut down ping.fm for some unfathomable reason, you need to replace it with something that's as easy to use... typing "ping.fm" is easy... trying to remember "seesmic.com/profile/ping/new" is ridiculous and pretty much guarantees that no one will use it. Quick and easy=lots of users. 

I don't know what you did to seesmic, but I absolutely refuse to pay for the **** you have up now. Time to use other free twitter apps. I look forward to watching you bleed the customer base you have left. Time to go remove my account and uninstall anything having to do with your product.
