I am disgusted that Seesmic Ping is replacing Ping.fm. Seesmic Ping does not support half of the service Ping.fm supports. I really need to be able to update all my micro-blogging accounts at once so I must have support for Twitter, Identi.ca and Status.net. The Status.net API is Twitter compatible and is here http://status.net/wiki/API

It truly differentiated Ping.fm from every other competitor on the market. I sent about 10 messages a day using the texting option and I am truly saddened to see it go. Long live 918-814-4042! It allowed users to simple text in their updates hassle free :)

If you're closing Ping.fm, you should maintain a free service tier for Ping. Remove features, limit posting frequency, whatever, but it should be a comparable service to the one you'll eventually close.

I'm OK for you to post to my Facebook page, but I why do you need access to all of my friends' contact info?

Please allow to set up automatic posts from RSS feeds. This would help save lots of time posting individually.

For example, I have a blog feed and a product of the day feed that I use to post to FB, Twitter, G+, and Pinterest to give our users fresh content. Allowing users to use a feed would save lots of time.

I would be willing to pay for a strong service like that, but I have not found one that does this effectively.

I post to Facebook and set Facebook to post to Twitter with a link back. The limit would be much better the Facebook limit if you must have one. Better still is no limit. As soon as you add Blogger support (I can not believe you do not have it yet!) I will post my blog posts through Seesmic too. Blogger post to Twitter with a link back.

Just like how Facebook pages work with Ping, it would be great to post to my Company's page (managed by my account) instead of my personal page.

They all intertwine with each other... Docs can be blogs, and can contain Calendar events and Map locations. seriously the ability to create one document that creates items on three separate google features at once and simultaneously posts them to their various social media counter-parts would be amazing... even better would be the ability to detect and extract compatible data to be converted to these various forms from found articles feeds and webpages

Unfortunately, with your change to a business model instead of the Seesmic that we all know and love, you have lost this user. I fell in love with Seesmic and was using it at home, work and on my phone. Now, I have already replaced it on my computers and will be doing so on my phone. Give me a shout if you ever decide to change it back to the way things were in the past.

Based on experience using PingFM, I would suggest adding MySpace as a priority. This is based on the amount of traffic received from MySpace, compared to all other services / networks.
